Milling CNC

CNC machining, i.e. computer-controlled, is used, among others in many types of cutting machine tools. The CNC technology ensures high shape and dimensional accuracy, repeatability and efficiency, with a relatively simple and quick preparation process. Thanks to this, this type of processing is ideally suited to the industry producing elements that require accuracy and precision, both in serial and unit production.

We offer advanced services in the field of CNC milling and precision machining:

  • on MAS MCV1270, HAAS VM-2, HAAS DT-1, AVIA X5, AVIA VARIO, AVIA VMC-1000 machining centers and AVIA FN-40 CNC milling machines.
  • making precise shapes and holes with an accuracy of 0.01 mm, roughness up to Ra0.3
  • processing of various materials – most often constructional, quality, acid-resistant, tool steels, including hardened up to 70HRC.
  • also non-ferrous metals and plastics and graphite. We do not machine cast iron.
  • machining of objects with maximum dimensions up to 1400x900x600 and weight up to 1t.
  • machining of advanced shapes with the use of indexed machining and full 3, 4 and 5-axis interpolation
  • machining programs prepared with the use of CAM software (NX, Esprit, EdgeCam) based on documentation entrusted or prepared on request by our design office
  • serial processing with the use of special equipment of our own design and manufacture

Pricing

In most cases, we prepare a price offer based on the inquiry
In special cases, we suggest using an as-built calculation, specifying the estimated value of the service and the hourly rate used.
In this case, as part of the work settlement, we present a report on its implementation, detailing the labor-intensity components.
In order to speed up the preparation of the offer for CNC milling, please send a 3D CAD file (stp, x_t, igs) specifying the scope of processing, type of material and condition of the delivered blank, and a technical drawing containing the specification of the required dimensional tolerances and surface roughness after machining.

Information on the size of the lot subject to valuation is also necessary.
You can count on quick and careful execution of the task and reasonable prices.

CNC milling is a machining method that allows you to make precisely arranged holes and threads, flat, prismatic and shaped surfaces, as well as special surfaces, such as teeth or helical surfaces. It is characterized by wide versatility limited only by the length and diameter of the tool that can be used. The process consists in shaping objects made of metal, plastic or other machinable materials with a multi-blade tool, most often a milling cutter or drill. The tool performs the main rotary motion of the cut, and the workpiece relative to the cutter is traversed according to a previously programmed path.

The process is supervised by the machine controller (computer). The machine tools used in our plant are equipped with Heidenhain or HAAS control, enabling quick loading via Ethernet and execution of programs previously prepared on external computers with CAM software, as well as supporting the development, editing and simulation of code from the controller level.

All our machines are equipped with tool and object measuring probes, which, when properly used, ensure the highest precision and reliability of the work performed.

Our milling machining centers allow for long-term, unattended operation with automatic change of tools taken from the warehouse.
They are also equipped with advanced options for cooling with compressed air, oil mist and high pressure flushing through the spindle.

CNC milling can be performed on many different machine tools differing in size, kinematic system complexity (number of axes controlled from 3 to 5), spindle speed (from 10 to 24 thousand rpm), as well as stiffness and precision.
An important factor influencing the quality of the work performed is the type of tools used and the method of their mounting. For most CNC precision milling tasks, we use high-quality carbide milling cutters or solid carbide VHM drills mounted in heat shrink chucks.

The wide technological capabilities of our machine tools are additionally enhanced by special equipment, such as turbine spindles, which allow for obtaining up to 150,000 jobs. rpm (used for milling cutters with diameters from 0.1 mm) or magnetic and vacuum clamps.
