At the request of an engineer building a rally car, we performed a task in the field of reverse engineering. The goal was to create an adapter connecting the Nissan Patrol powertrain to the Jeep V8 engine.
For this purpose, coordinate measurements of holes and dowels in the engine block, gearbox bodies and clutch components were performed.
Based on the measurements, an adapter was made, and the entire team, after twisting, was installed in the vehicle by our client.
